We need to practice getting back to the basics of putting human nutrition back into our daily food pyramid. As an experiment, I cut out a lot of dairy products, ate a lot of soy products, whole grains, fruits, and some fish, I practically switched to a vegetarian diet. I also included some small amounts of omega-3 fatty acids and an occasional smoothie with flax oil and took a lot of vitamins. After a year, A masseuse could tell from the consistency of my flesh that I was a vegetarian, because it was different from a meat-eater. I thought that was remarkable. So now I need to switch to a different menu to regain my roots and eliminate some inches in my waistline, which I was able to do through the plan in this book. It was really helpful for me.
